1. General description
This series vacuum contactor (short for contactor) is suitable for making, breaking, frequently starting and controlling AC motor in power network of AC 50 Hz, the main circuit rated voltage 1140V, rated current from 1000A to 1250A, which is also suitable for forming magnetic starter with each kind of protection devices (JDB electronic integrated protector, JR9 over current protection device, R-C absorber), especially forming anti-explosion magnetic starter.
The contactor conforms to GB/T14048.4, IEC60947-4-1, JB/T7122 standards, whose main performance meets the international standard.
2. Normal using conditions
- Ambient temperature: ≤+40℃, ≥-5℃, daily average ≤+35℃;
- Altitude:≤1000 m;
- Atmospheric conditions: Monthly average max. relative humidity in the wettest month is 90%, monthly average min. temperature is 25℃; taking special measurements for the condensation caused by temperature change;
- Impact vibration: The contactor should be mounted and used in places without shocking, vibration, or impact;
- In medium without explosion danger, gas or dust (including conductive dust) that erode metal or damage insulator;
- Places away from rain and snow;
- Pollution grade: grade-3;
- Installation class: III;
- Installation condition: The slant angle between installation surface and the vertical surface is not more than 15°
3. Structure and operation principle
The contactor consists of frame, base, crutch, electromagnetic system, and vacuum interrupter. When applying control voltage to electromagnetic coil, the armature drives crutch rotating to connect inner contact of vacuum interrupter; after the electromagnetic coil power off, the main circuit switches off under the effect of opening spring. The electromagnetic coil consists of starting and keeping winding, which is changed by auxiliary contact.
